Hi, I'm Richard Picksley, a professional photographer with over 20 years experience, specialising in Weddings, Portraits, Black Tie Events, Corporate Events, Commercial, Landscapes and mobile Photo Booths. I have a real passion for photography and in essence being able to capture those special moments in time which stay with us forever. My professionalism speaks for itself however I always enjoy working in a relaxed and friendly manner at all times.
Specialising in portraits since 2003. I'm able to print at the event with my dye sublimation printer normally at 6" x 8" for a colour print & mounted. This printer also does passport image sized key rings & other print sizes. My portable studio only takes up approx 3 sq metres so can fit almost anywhere.
Available to hire - our large white inflatable photo booth with LED lighting adjustable to suite your colour scheme. Minimum hire time of 3 hours to include an unlimited amount of postcard size prints all for £350. If a longer time period is required, then an extra £75 per hour.
With my portable studio, I am able to photograph & print straight away at the event for the customer to take away & cherish their chosen image. I can also host the images taken onto a dedicated website with a password given out at the event for people to view online. Then if they wish they can purchase images from me pay either via cash, bacs or paypal.
I capture candid & traditional style images without intruding into the big day's event. I try & make the photography as casual as possible, giving a relaxed atmosphere. I am very organised & forward thinking at weddings in trying not to miss that special moment on camera.
This category is my hobby. I love to travel & have been fortunate in visiting 6 continents & collating numerous outstanding vista's. My favourite area is South East Asia not just for photographs but for the food as well!
Over the years I have captured many different aspects of this category, ranging from food displays to water dispenser products. I try to photograph the subject from a different angle everytime. The past few years I have been doing property photography & floorplans for estate agents.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing! A farmyard goose giving a Highland cow some grief, right place again, really lucky!

The say that "no place is boring if you've had a good night's sleep and have a pocket full of unexposed film". Whilst I don't shoot (a lot) of film these days — these are the tools that I actually use everyday to capture the amazing things around us.
I entered this photo before I became a professional into the Sunday Telegrapgh 6 continents competition and I won the North America category. This image is often captured in Cowboy & Western films. I was fortunate to be able to see this for myself, the mind blowing scenery of the sandstone buttes. I captured this shot down on my knees & by positioning my camera so that the old wooden branch framed one of the buttes.
